दरअसल, सोमवार को प्रदेशभर के 2400 से ज्यादा प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटल संचालक बिल के विरोध में सड़कों पर उतरे थे। विभिन्न संगठनों से जुड़े डॉक्टर्स दोपहर करीब 12 बजे एसएमएस हॉस्पिटल से विधानसभा के लिए निकले। जेएलएन मार्ग होते हुए वे त्रिमूर्ति सर्किल गए। यहां से नारायण सिंह सर्किल होते हुए सेंट्रल पार्क के सामने से स्टैच्यू सर्किल पहुंचे।
यहां पर पुलिस ने करीब 1 बजे स्टैच्यू सर्किल के पास डॉक्टर्स को रोक लिया। डॉक्टर और पुलिस के बीच धक्का-मुक्की होने लगी। सभी डॉक्टर्स स्टैच्यू सर्किल पर ही धरने पर बैठ गए। इस दौरान प्रदर्शनकारी उग्र हो गए और पुलिस से झड़प हो गई। आरोप है कि पुलिस ने पुरुष डॉक्टर्स के साथ ही महिला डॉक्टर्स के साथ मारपीट की और उनके कपड़े फाड़ दिए।

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday extended the remand of Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia by five days in connection with the liquor policy case. Now Manish Sisodia will have to remain in ED custody till March 22. However, the investigating agency had asked the court to extend the custody by 7 days.
