Confederation of Indian industry (CII) organised the “11th big Picture summit 2022” on 16 – 17 November at Hotel le meridian, New Delhi. CII has been representing the Indian film and entertainment industry at the prestigious Cannes Film Market for the past 20 years; at Berlin Film Festival for the past 5 years and the Toronto Film Festival for the past 3 years. In this year’s summit discussions centered on emerging trends, technological advancements and opportunities for various industries by internationally renowned experts like of entertainment, broadcasting, streaming, filming, advertisement and many other.

This two day summit saw delegates, event speakers, B2B meetings and participants. who came together to be a part of sharing thoughts and debating to bring the Indian media and Entertainment sector future ready and socio-economically strong. CII reports were also released in the session which focused mainly on Indian M&E sector and sports broadcasting. Mr. K Madhavan (Chairman, CII national committee on M&E) inaugurated the session by giving his valuable opening remarks followed by special address by Mr. Apurva Chandra (Secretary, Ministry of Information Broadcasting), Mr. P.D Vanghela (Chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), Mr. Biren Ghose( Vice Chairman, CII Committee on M&E. Mr. Neeraj Roy (MD& CEO, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment), Mr. Amit Khanna (Media Guru, Filmmaker, Poet) talked about the future of M&E Industry on day one of the summit followed by words of expert panelists who presented their views on various topics like Streaming, AVGC next steps, impact of piracy, role of OTT, role of broadcasting in promoting sports in India.

The Big picture Summit was being held online for a few years due to COVID outbreak. The 11th summit took place offline that was first time after covid shutdown. This gave a big opportunity for the participants who were invited to be a part of this programme. The participants were seen from various Public and Private Backgrounds like government officials, entrepreneurs, students, journalists, content creators, broadcasters, distributors and many more. Entertainment industry professionals from Redi Productions Pvt Ltd namely Mr. Parvinder Singh Wraich (Director), Harkiran Kaur Wraich (Director) and Swaranjit Kaur Wraich (Producer) also gave their valuable participation in the summit. After this summit every individual present there would take home a new and positive vision which would help them get ready for the future and get the key to capture the $25.2 billion entertainment industry by 2022. Knowing the emerging treads and changing the way of how we work is important to keep pace with the future. Adarsh Swaroop’s Novel ‘ Befikkarr Dil ’ Set as Film Adaptation by Pooja entertainment.

Film adaptation rights to Indian novelist Adarsh Swaroop’s acclaimed book “Befikkarr Dil ” have been acquired up by Pooja entertainment. The banner plans a Hindi-language adaptation that will go into development later this year.

Swaroop’s book, which broke pre-sale records on Amazon India when it was launched, revolves around a high-flying couple’s who is intelligent and successful, but finds it difficult to find love.

Adarsh Swaroop is an Indian Journalist, a competent Model, an insightful movie critic and a multifarious Artist who, with his riveting comprehension of this glamorous Bollywood industry, is earning massive headlines. Born on 31st of December 1992. Being a movie enthusiast from the childhood, Adarsh Swaroop was an unbiased and satirical movie critic.
He until now has featured in many renowned and famous modeling pageant like lakme fashion week, Wills fashion and Van Heusen. He has also done a dance tour pan India with Studio I8.

The author of this novels, Swaroop is known for lucid and fast-moving stories that translate well into film. He will involved in the scriptwriting, cast, crew and production details of “Befikkarr Dil” have yet to be finalized.
Pooja entertainment, co-headed by Vashu Bhagnani and Jakie Bhagnani, is the hindi language production of India. It releases over 30 films annually across india.

from 1995 film Raja in his adaptation film “Befikkarr Dil”

According to a leading magazine, Adarsh Swaroop’s upcoming adaptation film “Befikkarr Dil”will have a revamped version of the most popular song Ankhiyan Milaon Kabhi Ankhiyan Churaon”. While Bollywood has already given us many newer version of old classics, the audience has always been divided when it comes to the response on the songs. The 1995 song had Madhuri flirting with Sanjay, the reprised version will showcase chemistry between the young guns of Bollywood.Very excited for hit novel & song cast not yet to be finalized but pre-production will start soon.

It is also learned that the remake will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Novel have created quite a buzz among the audience. Fans are eagerly waiting for the flick to be released.

Befikkarr Dil is an official adaption of hit novel Befikkarr Dil.This is rom-com film. Reports also have it that Ranbir Kapoor & Ayushman Khurana first choice for the movie but Adarsh wants fresh pair for the film.However, things didn’t work out.

Ajay Devgn Starrer Drishyam 2 released this Friday with good hype but on day one itself, it has surpassed all expectations with 2nd best opening of Hindi film in 2022. Film has created an atmosphere of celebration among trade and exhibitors and disappointment among Bollywood haters.
Film released in 3300 screens and managed massive 15.38 cr nett on day one which was even higher than Ajay Devgn Starrer Tanhaji (15.10 cr) which released in pre pandemic times. Film got acceptance all over and especially in Maharashtra circuit which was lying low for so long.
Yesterday again film took a fab start in morning and it kept growing throughout the day. Film jumped almost by 40% across the board in national chains and single screens were solid too. Film collected 21.59 cr nett on day two.

Today again film has taken a solid start across the country and it should cross 25 cr nett today with 17-20% jump. Film will cross 62 cr nett today as we predicted two days back!

The latest bollywood news is that the sequel of “Life In A Metro” will be directed by Anurag basu, which will star Ali Fazal. Other details have not been known. However, the revival of the 2007 film is a treat to fans.
“Anurag Basu has been planning to make LIAM2 for a long time, but it was only during the first COVID-19 lockdown that he cracked the storyline. It’s an ensemble cast film with a mix of familiar and new faces. Ali Fazal is already on board, while the casting of other leads is still in progress. Anurag is expected to finalize the entire leading cast in a fortnight,” Peeping Moon quoted the source as saying.

The source added, “The film is a fresh tale of different characters, each facing different issues and problems in their lives. It’s a sequel but drastically different from the 15-year-old film, which narrated the lives of nine people living in Mumbai and dealt with topics such as extramarital affairs, the sanctity of marriage, commitment phobia, and love.”

Political parties have put in all their might for the first phase of elections in Gujarat. Elections to 89 seats in Gujarat will be held on December 1. THE STORY OF VAJPAYEE, ONE OF THE CO-FOUNDERS AND A SENIOR LEADER OF THE BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY, WILL BE TOLD IN THE FILM.

A biopic named ATAL will star actor Pankaj Tripathi as former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the film’s producers revealed on Friday. The story of Vajpayee, one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party, will be told in the film, which was written by Utkarsh Naithani and directed by 3-time National Award winner Ravi Jadhav.
Pankaj stated that he feels honoured to portray such a legendary, multifaceted figure as Vajpayee, saying, “It is an honour to portray such a humane politician on screen. He was not just a politician but so much more, he was an excellent writer and a renowned poet. Getting to be in his shoes is nothing but a privilege for an actor like me.”
It is a rare opportunity for director Ravi Jadhav, well known for directing the Marathi films Natarang and Balgandharva, to work with such a gifted actor as Pankaj Tripathi on a biopic of the late leader.

In collaboration with 70MM Talkies, Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan, and Kamlesh Bhanushali produce ATAL, which Zeeshan Ahmad and Shivv Sharma also co-produce. According to Vinod, the entire cast agreed that Tripathi is the ideal choice to play Vajpayee. Vinod said, “We are delighted to have one of India’s finest actors playing the part. We also have an exceptional director Ravi ji on board who we are sure will bring the story of our exemplary leader beautifully.”
The team plans to release the movie around Christmas 2023, which also happens to be the anniversary of Vajpayee’s birth at age 99, according to producer Sandeep Singh. Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios are the producers of ATAL.
