In Anta area of Kota district of Rajasthan, a mother took the life of her own daughter in the desire to give life to her son. The accused mother strangled her 12-year-old daughter to death. During interrogation, the accused woman Rekha Hada made shocking revelations, hearing which the police were also shocked. The accused woman told the police that she had a dream that if she wanted to save the elder son, then one would have to be sacrificed. After this, the woman killed her own daughter while carrying out the crime.
According to the police, the police officers reached the spot after getting information about the woman killing her own daughter. After which the police started the investigation and on the basis of suspicion, the woman Rekha was questioned, then a shocking case came to the fore. Police said that the accused Rekha lives with her husband and three children. His eldest son is Nikendra, who was found to have a hole in his heart. The accused woman loves her eldest son very much. The woman was very worried about the health of the son. In such a situation, he started dreaming that the son would be cured by sacrificing one.
Shivraj, the husband of the accused woman Rekha, says that the wife started getting so upset for a long time that her mental balance also started deteriorating. In such a situation, a few days ago, she also attacked her husband Shivraj with a sharp weapon. But he was saved when Shivraj woke up in time. Even after this, the ghost of someone’s sacrifice was riding on the woman’s head to save her son. In such a situation, the woman also attacked her 12-year-old daughter Sanjana and 7-year-old younger son Singham. But somehow the younger son escaped, but the woman caught the daughter and strangled her to death.
The Supreme Court has given a big verdict in the Chhawla rape case, formed in the year 2012. The Supreme Court has acquitted the three accused Ravi, Rahul and Vinod. Let us tell you that in 2012, a 19-year-old girl in Chhawla area of Delhi. The woman was murdered after being raped.
Earlier in this case, a Delhi court had sentenced the three accused to death in February 2014. After this, the High Court also upheld this sentence. The incident took place when the girl was returning home from her office in 2012. During this, the three accused kidnapped her and gang-raped her. After this, all the three crossed all limits of inhumanity and even killed him. This case of rape and murder is about 10 years old.
The mutilated body of the victim was found lying in a field and it also had several serious injuries due to the attack ranging from car tools to pottery. In February 2014, a Delhi court sentenced three men to death for raping and murdering a 19-year-old girl in 2012. The accused challenged this sentence in the Delhi High Court.
After this, on 26 August 2014, the Delhi High Court had also compared the accused with poachers while upholding the death penalty. Thereafter, Ravi Kumar, Rahul and Vinod were convicted under various charges related to kidnapping, rape and murder. After this, an appeal was made in the Supreme Court against the punishment on behalf of the convicts. On which the Supreme Court acquitted all three.
This case dates back to February 2012, when the body of a 19-year-old girl was found in Haryana. After the rape, she was brutally murdered. A case was registered in this regard at Chhawla (Najafgarh) police station in outer Delhi. According to the prosecution, the crime was brutal in nature as they first kidnapped, raped, murdered her and then dumped her body in a field in Rodai village in Haryana’s Rewari district. But now the accused have been acquitted by the Supreme Court.
A five-judge Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court has upheld the validity of the 103rd Amendment Act 2019 of the Constitution. The Supreme Court on Monday put its stamp on 10 percent reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). While hearing the matter, a five-judge Constitutional Bench has given its verdict in favor of EWS reservation by a margin of 3-2.
Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, Justice Bela M Trivedi, Justice JB Pardiwala have agreed on EWS reservation. The three judges are of the view that this reservation does not violate the Constitution. While pronouncing the verdict, the three judges also held that EWS reservation does not violate the ceiling of 50 per cent reservation. At the same time, CJI Justice UU Lalit and Justice Ravindra Bhat disagreed on this. Justice Ravindra Bhat said that the 50% limit of quota cannot be violated hence EWS reservation is not correct from any point of view.
Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, while giving his verdict, said that the big question was whether EWS reservation is against the basic spirit of the Constitution? Is it against the basic spirit to exclude SC / ST / OBC from this? He said that EWS reservation does not violate the Constitution in any way. EWS reservation is right for the economically weaker section. It does not violate any provision of the constitution. It does not violate the basic structure of the Constitution of India. At the same time, Justice Bela Trivedi said that Justice Dinesh Maheshwari is right and I also agree with his opinion. So Justice Pardiwala said that reservation is not the last line. This is the beginning of making everyone equal.
In fact, the constitutional validity of the EWS quota was challenged in the Supreme Court. After a long hearing on several petitions in this case, the court had reserved its decision on September 27. A bench of then CJI SA Bobde, Justice R Subhash Reddy, Justice BR Gavai referred the matter to a constitution bench on August 5, 2020.

Rajasthan Health Minister Parsadi Lal has targeted the police of his own government.
