The Himalayas, or Himalaya is a mountain range in Asia separating the plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. The range has many of Earth’s highest peaks, including the highest, Mount Everest, at the border between Nepal and China. The Himalayas include over fifty mountains exceeding 7,200 m (23,600 ft) in elevation, including ten of the fourteen 8,000-metre peaks. By contrast, the highest peak outside Asia (Aconcagua, in the Andes) is 6,961 m (22,838 ft) tall.
Lifted by the subduction of the Indian tectonic plate under the Eurasian Plate, the Himalayan mountain range runs west-northwest to east-southeast in an arc 2,400 km (1,500 mi) long. Its western anchor, Nanga Parbat, lies just south of the northernmost bend of the Indus River. Its eastern anchor, Namcha Barwa, is just west of the great bend of the Yarlung Tsangpo River (upper stream of the Brahmaputra River). The Himalayan range is bordered on the northwest by the Karakoram and the Hindu Kush ranges. To the north, the chain is separated from the Tibetan Plateau by a 50–60 km (31–37 mi) wide tectonic valley called the Indus-Tsangpo Suture. Towards the south, the arc of the Himalaya is ringed by the very low Indo-Gangetic Plain. The range varies in width from 350 km (220 mi) in the west (Pakistan) to 150 km (93 mi) in the east (Arunachal Pradesh).
The Himalayas are inhabited by 52.7 million people, and are spread across five countries: Bhutan, China, India, Nepal and Pakistan. The Hindu Kush range in Afghanistan and Hkakabo Razi in Myanmar are normally not included, but they are both (with the addition of Bangladesh) part of the greater Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) river system
The name of the range derives from the Sanskrit Himālaya, “Abode of the Snow”), from himálaya and “receptacle, dwelling”).They are now known as the “Himalaya Mountains”, usually shortened to the “Himalayas”. Formerly, they were described in the singular as the Himalaya and rendered as Himavan in older writings.

The matter will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
According to the information, on December 7, 68-year-old Navalram Meena was taken to the hospital in a serious condition by the family from home in Kharbar village of Parsad. He underwent treatment at the hospital for a month, after which he died. After the death, the family cremated the body on January 10. The case took a new turn when Navalram Meena’s daughter Pramila reached the police station and lodged a complaint of suspicion of murder. In such a situation, the police reached the burial site of the body and in the presence of administrative officers and villagers, dug a pit and took out the body of the elderly and sent it to the mortuary of the hospital.
In the report, daughter Pramila had expressed the possibility of killing her father. He had also accused his own brother Ramlal of murder. After this, he was treated in the hospital for a month. He succumbed to his injuries on January 10 after being discharged from the hospital.
The reason for this incident has been revealed to be the father’s wrong eye on the daughter-in-law. Police are still investigating the case. Let us tell you that late on Wednesday night, the Adani Group canceled the fully subscribed FPO worth Rs 20,000 crore.
On this, the company said that the money of the investors will be refunded. Earlier on Wednesday, shares of Adani Enterprises fell 26.70% to close at Rs 2179.75. This was the reason why the Adani Group decided to withdraw the FPO.
After canceling the FPO, Gautam Adani issued a video message thanking the investors. Gautam Adani said that despite the fluctuations in the stock last week, your confidence in the company’s business and its management is reassuring for us. For me, the interest of my investors is paramount. Everything else is secondary. Therefore, to protect investors from potential losses, we have withdrawn the FPO. The board felt that it would not be morally right to go ahead with the FPO.
On the other hand, 13 opposition parties, including Congress, TMC, Aam Aadmi Party, SP, DMK, Janata Dal and Left, met at the chamber of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge over allegations of Hindonberg research on Adani Group. Leaders of all parties have taken a decision together that the incidents that are happening in the country from an economic point of view have to be raised in the House, so we gave a notice. We wanted a discussion on this notice but whenever we give notice, it is rejected.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has described the central government’s budget as a bundle of announcements. CM Gehlot said that this budget has treated the people of Rajasthan step-by-step. Reacting to the budget, State President Dotasara also said that Modi ji has cheated Rajasthan by not giving anything, which the people will never forget.
Cm Ashok Gehlot said that this budget was very disappointing for Rajasthan. The people of Rajasthan are disappointed that the central government has not accepted the demand for granting national status to the important project ERCP related to the development of the state. Gehlot said that keeping in mind the elections, providing Rs 5,300 crore as additional assistance to the state of Karnataka for the Upper Bhadra project shows the step-motherly attitude of the Centre towards Rajasthan.
CM Ashok Gehlot said that the budget should be called jumla. Gehlot said that in schemes like Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, the central government has reduced the budget by 33 percent. Reducing the budget of NREGA by Rs 30,000 crore proves that this budget is anti-poor, landless farmers and common people. Gehlot said that absurd announcements related to agriculture and farmers’ welfare have been made in this budget. The budget of the Ministry of Agriculture has given about 6 percent less budget than last year. Urea subsidy has been reduced by 23 thousand crores compared to last year. It is 15 percent less.
Cm Gehlot said that the central government has not made any significant increase in this budget compared to last year, neglecting areas like education, health, social justice. Today the country is suffering from inflation, the prices of things used by the common man every day have increased. This will make it difficult for the common man to make a living.
