CM Gehlot meets family of Muslim youths who were burnt alive

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday afternoon visited Ghatmika in Bharatpur where he met the family members of Nasir and Junaid, who were burnt alive in Haryana. The Chief Minister also provided financial help to the families of the victims.

The CM has announced Rs 1 lakh in cash and an FD of Rs 4 lakh each to Nasir’s wife and an adopted child. At the same time, for Junaid’s wife and 6 children, he announced 1 lakh cash each and an FD of 4-4 lakh. In this way, financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh has been given to Nasir’s family and Rs 35 lakh to Junaid’s family.

The Chief Minister addressed reporters after meeting the families of Nasir and Junaid. The Chief Minister said that the children of Nasir and Junaid will be given education, hostels, residential schools and all kinds of government assistance under the scheme. Minister Zahida Khan will take care of this.

4 killed in road accident

Jaipur: Four people, including the driver of a container, were killed when their van collided with a stationary container on the Jaipur-Kota highway in Rajasthan, police said on Sunday. All were returning from Khatushyam Darbar. The accident took place in Ghad area of Tonk district around 4.30 am on Thursday. It is being told that the van driver had a nap. After the incident, people passing by pulled out the people trapped in the van after a lot of effort. The dead also include husband and wife.

According to the information, the accident took place at Deorawas Morh on the National Highway passing through Deoli in Tonk district. The van was shattered in the accident. Manish Sharma, his wife Ishu Sharma, Amit Sharma, residents of Shyam Nagar in Deoli, and van driver Ravi, a resident of Ramsar police station in Nasirabad, Ajmer, were killed. Manish and Amit were brothers. Ishu Sharma was Manish’s wife. Manish’s daughter Deepali, Anshul Jain and Nikki alias Nikesh, both residents of Deoli, were injured in the accident.

According to the police, three people died on the spot, while one injured succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Tonk Hospital. These people were returning after visiting Khatu Shyam ji. There were 7 people in the van. All of them are said to be from Deoli in Tonk district.

Discom team beaten up by villagers with sticks, video goes viral

The discom employees were beaten up by villagers over the electricity bill that had been pending for nearly two years. The team first threatened to deposit the bill but when they refused to pay the bill, the team reached the village to cut the electricity connection. Meanwhile, the family members and relatives of The Baker started kicking and punching the team.

This case is from Moti village of Chakhu police station area of Jodhpur district. The incident is said to have taken place around 5 pm on Monday. Discom employees have registered a case against 11 people at 8 pm on Tuesday.

According to the information, the department team went to block the electricity connection at Bhanwarlal’s house in Moti village, where the incident took place. Discom helper Lalaram Vishnoi is working at 33/11 KV sub station Jamba. He said that on Monday, he along with technical assistant II and FRT contract worker Gopalram had gone to Moti village in a car. Here Bhawarlal’s bill was outstanding, so orders were given to cut the connection of the house.

During this, it was explained to the defaulter on the spot that the electricity bill should be paid immediately or necessary action will be taken. On this, the family members of the defaulter together attacked the department team. The attackers beat up the entire team with sticks and bribes. After which a case has been registered against the family.

Police seize Rs 6.75 crore from car in Bhilwara

The Pratap Nagar police station in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan has seized Rs 6.75 crore from a car near Awari Mata Temple on Budhwar Pur Road. In this case, the police have seized the car and detained two people in it, who are being questioned.

The deceased have been identified as Rahul Singh Rajput( 30), a resident of Gujarat.
Jaideep Singh, son of Fannu, is 32 years old and a resident of Gujarat. It is being told that the money was hidden under both the front seat of the car and behind the back seat in the trunk, in which it was kept. When the police opened them, a large number of 500 and 2000 rupee notes were found.

When the police questioned the youths about the note, they could not give a satisfactory answer. In such a situation, the police have detained the youth and seized the notes. When the police counted the notes by machine, this amount was found to be Rs 6 crore 75 lakh. The police have separately informed the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate.

Not very long ago we saw Ayushmann Khurrana play a superstar in An Action Hero, where an upcoming youth icon wanting to take a selfie with the actor ends up dead, and his brother lectures the superstar that all he is is because of public, so if they want a selfie, actors need to oblige. Cut to Akshay Kumar’s latest theatrical release Selfiee, where the actor plays a superstar and ends up in a murky mess of sorts with his biggest fan. All this fan desired for was a seflie with his idol, but things take an ugly turn when media gets involved and it becomes a battle of egos and an ultimate fight between a superstar vs his fan..

An official remake of Malayalam film Driving Licence, this Akshay-starrer dramedy is not a frame by frame copy of the original (I’ve seen the Malayalam one in bit and parts) and has many lighter moments. Other than the basic storyline, Selfiee has ditched the serious undertones of the original and laced the writing with a lot of humour.

The story follows superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay) who wants a driving licence urgently to be able to finish the climax of his film and save the producer from incurring losses. His diehard fan, RTO officer Om Prakash Aggarwal (Emraan Hashmi) is given the task to help the actor, and he agrees to fulfil it without following the usual tedious process and asks for a selfie as a gesture in return. But things don’t go as planned and a misunderstanding leads to their feud becoming prime time news, while public has a field day with their juicy fight.
I have somehow always enjoyed watching actors portray superstars onscreen; it’s kind of watching a film within a film, so double the fun at the cost of one.
