The Reserve Bank of India has sought information from all banks about loans given to Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL). According to news agency Reuters, RBI officials have refused to comment on this. However, this news agency has claimed that he has given this information without giving the name.

Group shares have seen a decline of up to 10% on Thursday after the cancellation of the fully subscribed FPO. At the same time, there was an uproar in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha demanding an inquiry into the matter, after which the proceedings of both the Houses were adjourned till 2 pm. Let us tell you that late on Wednesday night, the Adani Group canceled the fully subscribed FPO worth Rs 20,000 crore.

On this, the company said that the money of the investors will be refunded. Earlier on Wednesday, shares of Adani Enterprises fell 26.70% to close at Rs 2179.75. This was the reason why the Adani Group decided to withdraw the FPO.

After canceling the FPO, Gautam Adani issued a video message thanking the investors. Gautam Adani said that despite the fluctuations in the stock last week, your confidence in the company’s business and its management is reassuring for us. For me, the interest of my investors is paramount. Everything else is secondary. Therefore, to protect investors from potential losses, we have withdrawn the FPO. The board felt that it would not be morally right to go ahead with the FPO.

On the other hand, 13 opposition parties, including Congress, TMC, Aam Aadmi Party, SP, DMK, Janata Dal and Left, met at the chamber of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge over allegations of Hindonberg research on Adani Group. Of these, 9 parties gave notice of adjournment motion in The Rajya Sabha.

In this case, Mallikarjun Kharge said that people’s hard-earned money is being wasted. People’s trust will rise in the bank and LIC. The shares of some companies are constantly falling. Leaders of all parties have taken a decision together that the incidents that are happening in the country from an economic point of view have to be raised in the House, so we gave a notice. We wanted a discussion on this notice but whenever we give notice, it is rejected.
