Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi passed away on Friday morning. Heeraben breathed her last at the age of 100. He was undergoing treatment at UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a very emotional message on Twitter about the death of his mother.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The glorious century has come to an end at the feet of God… In Maa, I have always felt the trinity that includes the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless karmayogi and a life committed to values. “When I met him on his 100th birthday, he said one thing, which is always remembered that work wisely and live life with purity.

During the funeral of mother Heeraben, PM Modi appeared very calm. His eyes were moist. Pm Modi had earlier visited his younger brother Pankaj Modi’s house, where he paid his last respects to his mother. After this, PM Modi was seen shouldering forward on the mother’s funeral journey. Prime Minister Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi was taken to Gandhinagar for the last rites. Pm Modi and his brothers performed the last rites with full rituals.

Let us tell you that mother Heeraben Modi was admitted to UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after her health deteriorated. Heeraben turned 100 on June 18, 2022. His health deteriorated on Tuesday night, after which he was admitted to the hospital.

However, on Thursday, a statement was issued by the hospital saying that his health was improving, but he died on Friday morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday afternoon went straight from Delhi to meet his mother at UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad. He stayed with his mother there for one-and-a-half hours and returned to Delhi in the evening after enquiring about her well-being and after her health improved. PM Modi’s mother Heeraben lived a very simple life. He himself went to vote in the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 held this year.

On Wednesday, the Shinde faction had reached the BMC office to stake claim to the Shiv Sena office, after which the Uddhav faction leaders opposed it. The matter escalated to a scuffle after an argument between the two groups. After which the BMC administration has to take this action.

Expressing their displeasure over the sealing of the offices of political parties, all parties protested fiercely at the Headquarters of The Mumbai Municipal Corporation on Thursday. According to the information, after the office was closed, activists of the Uddhav faction also raised slogans against BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal. Along with this, he claimed that he has the right over the disputed office.

According to a report in ABP News, activists of the Uddhav faction say that what was the need to close the office due to the occupation of the office by some corporators of the Shinde faction. He also claimed that it was the chamber office of the Shiv Sena Uddhav faction and no one else’s. During this, MP Vinayak Raut met BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal and also gave him a request letter.

Yogi government moves Supreme Court against High Court order

The Yogi government has approached the Supreme Court regarding the issue of OBC reservation in the municipal elections in UP. The UP government has reached the Supreme Court against the High Court’s decision. The High Court had asked for elections without giving OBC reservation. The High Court has also asked to complete the election process in January itself. In such a situation, the UP government has demanded a stay on the order from the Supreme Court. According to the information, the hearing in this case can be held when the Supreme Court opens on January 2.

In fact, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court had said that this time the civic elections in the state will be held without OBC reservation. The UP government has approached the Supreme Court seeking a stay on this order.

The Yogi Adityanath government has constituted a five-member Backward Classes Commission to provide OBC reservation in the local body elections in UP. This commission formed by the Uttar Pradesh government will conduct a survey on the population of backward classes on the basis of standards and report to the government. Retired Justice Ram Avtar Singh has been appointed as the chairman of the commission. The members of this commission include Mahendra Kumar, Chob Singh Verma, Santosh Vishwakarma and Brajesh Soni.

Earlier on December 27, UP CM Yogi Adityanath had said that the state government will set up a commission in the local body elections and provide the facility of reservation to obc citizens on the basis of triple test. Only after this, the urban body general election will be completed.

Serum Institute of India has so far administered more than 170 crore doses of Covishield in India under the vaccination program.

At the same time, the Union Health Ministry has said that corona cases may increase in India in mid-January. It was reported that the prototype RVM can handle multiple constituencies from a remote polling booth.

The Election Commission has said that the real purpose of this remote voting system is to improve the voting percentage and ensure maximum participation in the election. About 30 crore voters did not cast their votes in the voting process, which the Commission expressed concern over.
