Manoj K was born on January 28, 1994, in Kasaragod. His roots in this picturesque part of Kerala instilled a deep connection with nature and community from an early age. He pursued his education locally, completing his undergraduate studies in Travel and Tourism at People’s College in Kasaragod. His passion for the industry led him to pursue a Master’s in Tourism Management (MTM) from JDT College, affiliated with IGNOU.
Manoj’s career began as a travel coordinator in Mangalore in 2014. He diligently worked in various roles related to tourism, gaining valuable experience in the field. It was in 2019 that the spark of entrepreneurship ignited within him. He envisioned the concept of farm tourism and embarked on extensive research and planning. However, his dreams were temporarily dashed by the unforeseen challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Undeterred by setbacks, Manoj returned to his role as a travel coordinator while continually nurturing his ambition to start his own business. His determination was unwavering, and he frequently discussed his aspirations with colleagues and mentors, including Mrs. Remya and Mr. Rohit Kumar Daroori.
In August 2022, Manoj K, Remya P Raveendran and Rohit Kumar Daroori combined their expertise and resources to create a visionary venture: Dale Vihari Trips Private Limited. This startup, rooted in the principles of sustainable development and powered by cutting-edge AI technology, aims to revolutionize traditional tourism. Their mission goes beyond offering mere travel experiences; they seek to actively participate in the development of India.
Dale Vihari Trips Private Limited’s innovative approach to tourism has not gone unnoticed. The startup has quickly gained recognition and garnered seven national and international awards. Notably, it entered into a partnership with Microsoft Incentive Program, further solidifying its position as an industry leader.
