Saurav sammy is 18-year-old young talented artist from Muzaffarpur, and passionate singer, Guitarist, music composer from Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Saurav Sammy was fond of singing since childhood and earned more interest in singing when Saurav Sammy was in the 2nd standard, where Saurav Sammy used to listen songs of the most trending singer at that time, Himesh Reshammiya on radio and performed his songs in school functions. Saurav Sammy got so much appreciation from everyone. Saurav Sammy won many medals in the singing competitions too. Saurav Sammy was a big fan of Himesh Reshammiya sir and Saurav Sammy used to copy his style too. Once his photo was printed in the newspaper which made him so happy and motivated him alot. Saurav Sammy always wanted to be famous one day.

So he agreed on to choose singing as his career. Later in 8th standard, he decided to join guitar classes. Saurav Sammy borrowed a guitar from his cousin brother and devoted much time and practice to his guitar lessons. As a result, he learnt playing guitar in very very smaller amount of time. Saurav Sammy is very thankful to his guitar teacher for showing him the right path to achieve his goal in such less time.

Then next year, in 2016 he gave some auditions for the show Indian Idol and many other. He survived till the 4th round and then he got rejected. Then Saurav Sammy went to delhi to excel in music. Saurav Sammy joined classes and worked alot on his music. Later he came back to Muzaffarpur where he started doing lots and lots of shows in malls, cafes, parks, dandiya nights, clubs, everywhere. Most of the people in Muzaffarpur know Saurav Sammy as a very good singer.
Later Saurav Sammy decided to hit up social media and started uploading some videos an youtube as well as instagram.
Saurav Sammy got a decent response on his videos and it kept motivating him a lot. Saurav Sammy got a decent breakthrough when his “teri mitti” cover got a tremendous response on Instagram with more than 1 lakh views. Saurav Sammy also has been appreciated by some incredible and prominent personalities like Jubin Nautiyal, Stebin Ben, Payal Dev and many more.

GHAR GHAR RATION TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN SINGLE PHASE: LAL CHAND KATARUCHAK

LAL CHAND KATARUCHAK : Chandigarh, August 14, Armed with the resolute will to provide ration at the doorstep of the people, the State Government shall undertake the home delivery service of atta from 1st October this year.

          The scheme shall be implemented across the State in a single phase. The entire state has been divided into eight zones.

 Disclosing this, the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak said that under the scheme, the Government shall offer, to every beneficiary enrolled under NFSA, the option of home delivery of Atta.  Any beneficiary, who wishes to physically collect his entitlement of wheat from a Fair Price Shop (FPS), shall have an option of OPT-OUT through a suitable IT intervention freely available to him. The delivery cycle of distribution shall now be changed from quarterly to monthly cycle.

          The Home Delivery Service shall introduce the concept of Mobile Fair Price Shops (MPS). The MPS shall be a transport vehicle, preferably fitted with GPS facility and cameras to live stream the handing over of Atta to the beneficiary, said the Minister adding it shall mandatorily have the facility of weighing scales in order to satisfy the customer about the weight of the Atta before it is delivered. All mandatory requirements of biometric verification, handing over of printed weight slip to the beneficiary, etc. shall be provided by the MPS. All MPS licences shall be issued by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. An MPS shall enjoy a status similar to the ‘Fair Price Shop’ under the NFSA. Only MPS shall offer the facility of home delivery of Atta. 

Mr. Kataruchak

          A Special Purpose Vehicle shall be formed by MARKFED to undertake all activities required to successfully offer the service of Home Delivery of Atta to the beneficiaries of NFSA.  The State Government shall bear the entire cost of grinding Wheat into Atta even though the guidelines framed under NFSA allowed the recovery of these grinding charges from the beneficiary.  The new service is, therefore, expected to result in a saving of about Rs. 170 crore for the beneficiaries as regards their present expenditure on converting Wheat into Atta at the local atta chakki, added Mr. Kataruchak.

Chandigarh, August 17, Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today visited four districts to review the preparations on ground for the Punjab Khed Mela 2022 to be organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Services from 29th August with an aim of raising the standard of sports, to search for talent and skills, foster brotherhood and harmony, to connect people with sports and create a healthy Punjab. Principal Secretary Raj Kamal Chaudhury and Director Rajesh Dhiman of the Sports Department were also present on the occasion.

The sports minister held a review meeting with the district administration, officials of the sports department and other connected departments during his visit to Mohali, Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the department is organizing Punjab Khed Mela-2022 on the theme of ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Dian’ to recreate a sports culture in the State and deliver on the commitment of restoring the lost glory of the State. The inauguration of the Punjab Khed Mela will be done on 29th August on the occasion of birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand ji; the day is also observed as National Sports Day across India.

Meet Hayer said that in this Mahakumbh of sports around 5 lakh players in different age groups will participate in recognized games of gradation list from block to state level. Punjab Khed Mela is a two months long event. Sports personalities from parasports can also participate in the Punjab Khed Mela. Block level tournaments will be held from September 1 to September 7, district level tournaments will be held from September 12 to September 22 while the State level tournaments will be held from October 10 to October 21.

The sports minister informed that prize of Rs 10,000 with a certificate will be given to the players who will come first, Rs 7,000 and a certificate will be given to second prize while Rs 5,000 with a certificate will be given to third position holders.

A total prize money of Rs 6 crore will be distributed. All the winning players will be covered in the state’s gradation policy.
