Medical services to remain suspended in Rajasthan tomorrow, government doctors to boycott work

In Rajasthan, medical services will remain closed across the state on Thursday in protest against the Right to Health Bill Bill. Now in support of private hospital doctors
Doctors at the government hospital have decided to boycott mass work for the entire day on Wednesday. In such a situation, OPD services will be closed in PHC, CHC, Sub District Hospital, District Hospital and Medical College related hospitals in the state on Wednesday. More than 15,000 doctors and teacher faculty will participate in this entire protest.

The All Rajasthan Service Doctors Association, a union of medical officers and doctors of PHC-CHC, has already announced a boycott of work on March 29. Now teachers of government medical colleges have also come in support of them. It consists of faculty of senior professor, professor, assistant professor and associate professor rank. The Rajasthan Medical College Teachers Association says that only OPDs will be boycotted during the lockdown. What will be the treatment of patients coming to the emergency and patients admitted in the ICU? Arrangements will be made for this.

Let us tell you that there are about 14,500 doctors for the rank of Medical Officer in Rajasthan, who are serving in CMHO, Deputy CMHO, PHC-CHC, Upazila Hospital, District Hospital in the districts. They also have the responsibility of seeing patients in villages and small towns. At the same time, the government has given the responsibility to the faculty as senior doctors to see patients admitted in IPD along with OPD in medical colleges and hospitals attached to them in big cities. Their number is two to two and a half thousand.

Umesh Pal kidnapping case: Atiq Ahmed, 3 others convicted

Prayagraj: Three people, including gangster Atiq Ahmed, have been convicted by an MP-MLA court in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, in the 17-year-old Umesh Pal kidnapping case. Seven accused, including his brother Ashraf, have been acquitted. There were 11 accused in this case, one of whom has died.

The court convicted Atiq Ahmed, Khan Soulat and Dinesh Pasi. They can also be sentenced on Tuesday. Those acquitted are Ashraf alias Khalid Azim, Farhan, Javed alias Bajju, Abid, Israr, Ashiq alias Malli and Ejaz Akhtar.

On the other hand, in the Umesh Pal murder case, the Supreme Court has also dismissed the appeal to give security to Atiq Ahmed. Atiq had said in the petition that as long as he is in the custody of The Uttar Pradesh Police, he should be given protection. Atiq had said that he does not want to be shifted to a jail in Uttar Pradesh. On this, the Supreme Court asked Atiq’s lawyer to go to the High Court with his complaint.

Let us tell you that Atiq Ahmed has dominated 8 surrounding districts including Prayagraj for more than 20 years. According to the UP Police dossier, there are 101 cases registered against Atiq’s gang IS-227. Out of which 50 cases are currently going on in the court. These include cases under the NSA, gangster and goonda act. The first case against Atiq was filed in 1979.

When Atiq was taken to the court, lawyers in the campus shouted ‘hang two hanging’ slogans. Earlier, Atiq was brought to the court in a locked van from Naini Central Jail. It had CCTV cameras and curtains. The distance of 10 km to the court was covered in 28 minutes. In the Umesh Pal kidnapping case, 11 people including Bahubali Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf were accused, one of whom has died. Atiq was brought to Prayagraj from Sabarmati jail in Ahmedabad on Monday evening and his brother Ashraf from Bareilly jail. Both were lodged in the high security barrack at Naini Central Jail.

On an average, 966 cases of corona are being found in the country in a day, the active figure crosses 10 thousand

The number of active cases of corona in the country has crossed the 10 thousand mark. In the last 24 hours, 1,805 new patients have been found in the country. At the same time, 6 people died. Earlier on Sunday, a delegation of doctors had a meeting with Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, but it remained inconclusive. The doctors are adamant on the demand to withdraw the bill, while the government is adamant on implementing the bill. In such a situation, the public has to bear the brunt of this fight. Problems are increasing due to people not getting treatment on time.

Residents are still on strike in hospitals attached to government medical colleges in Jaipur and other cities of the state. Due to the strike of residents for more than 7 days, the medical system has collapsed across the state. But no solution seems to be coming out.
