Some even suggested checking out the nutritional facts of other unusual items like sandals and belts. It turns out that the product’s packaging indicates it can serve 15 people, and it caught people’s attention. However, an observer pointed out a possible connection between a recycled plastic originating in the US and an Indian broom manufacturer. The label was traced back to Dominguez Family Enterprises, an Italian chips brand, debunking assumptions that it was a mistake. “Champions Trophy 2025: Jadeja Rested, Not Dropped for India vs. Sri Lanka Tour; Chahal’s Status Uncertain: Report”

After India’s historic win in the T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20 internationals.

Rohit and Virat were given extended breaks after the T20 World Cup but were included in India’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Jadeja, however, was not mentioned, leading to speculation about his future with the Indian team. According to multiple reports, Jadeja has been rested for the Sri Lanka tour, not dropped, and remains in consideration for the Champions Trophy 2025.

India has only six ODI games before the Champions Trophy, three against Sri Lanka starting on August 2 and three in a white-ball series against England in January.

The BCCI has assured Jadeja that he will continue to be India’s primary spin-bowling all-rounder, citing the demanding schedule as the reason for his rest.

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal, who was in India’s T20 World Cup squad but didn’t play, has not been included in the Sri Lanka T20I or ODI teams. Chahal, who last played an ODI 19 months ago, will need to prove himself in domestic cricket to regain his place.

Chahal has the potential to contribute significantly with his spin bowling, but at 33, he faces the challenge of proving his worth before the three ODIs against England next year.

New Study Forecasts ‘Unacceptably High’ Cancer Rates for Generation X; Here’s Why

A recent study has indicated that Generation X individuals may have elevated rates of certain cancers compared to their parents. The study, published in the JAMA Network Open, utilised statistical models to predict potential cancer cases for Generation X, born between 1965 and 1980, following the Baby Boomers and preceding millennials.

However, the study emphasises that these findings are based on current trends and are not definitive. Dr. Philip Rosenberg, the study author, explained that the aim of the study was to identify unexpected increases in cancer rates. He highlighted that unless there are significant changes, cancer incidences are expected to remain high for many years.

As per data from the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program, all demographic groups except Asian or Pacific Islander men are projected to have higher cancer incidence than the previous generation. While there might be a decrease in cervical and lung cancers due to screening and reduced smoking rates, there could be an increase in thyroid, kidney, rectal, colon, leukaemia, uterine, pancreatic, ovarian, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancers among Generation X individuals.

The rise in cancer cases among Generation X is believed to be primarily influenced by genetics and lifestyles exposing them to cancer-causing agents such as chemicals in food.
