Diwali is often called the ‘Festival of Lights’. Every year Diwali is celebrated by lighting lamps, bursting crackers, binging on savouries & sweets and bursting of fireworks with your family and loved ones. On 5th Nov 2023, Graceful Hands Trust Team organised diwali celebrations with a unique theme to help elderly people with their medical requirements at Rushiwan old age Home situated in Panvel.

 
The event started with the honouring of chief guest Ms. Mamta Pritam Mhatre who released the first edition of brochure and customized t-shirt for GHT Team along with Chairperson Ms Payal Madhok and other members. College student band ‘Shaurya’ of Bachelor of Managements Studies from SIES College (Nerul) , gave a soulful performance setting up the festive vibe for event. Further celebrations were followed by games and musical performances.

The event was led by Payal Madhok (Chairperson/President) with co-host Urmi Joiser (Vice President) & Surekha Pandit (Trustee) along with the managing committee. The event was concluded with all the members sharing the joy of the festivities and leaving with a token of happiness and memories to cherish ahead of the festival.
