A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Mavli tehsil of Udaipur district. A 9-year-old girl was raped and brutally murdered by the accused with a sharp weapon. The accused cut the body into 10 pieces to dispose of the girl’s body and when he got a chance, he settled it. The plight of the accused can also be gauged from the fact that after killing the girl, he kept the body in a bag and kept it with him for two days.
Sp Vikas Sharma said that the nine-year-old girl, studying in Class 4, left the school at around 4 pm on March 29 to go to the field. When she did not reach the farm, the family started looking for her. When the girl was not found, the father informed the police. The police have registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC and launched a search for the girl. Meanwhile, pieces of the body were found in a sack in the ruins, about 200 meters away from the girl’s house, late Saturday evening.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and collected all the pieces and sent them to Udaipur MB Hospital for post-mortem, where during the post-mortem on Sunday, it was revealed that the accused had raped the girl and cut her into 10 pieces with a knife. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
The accused, 21-year-old Kamlesh, has been arrested, the SP said. When the accused saw the girl going to the field from the front of the house, he went to her. The girl knew the accused, so she went with him to his house, where the accused Kamlesh raped her. Later, fearing that this did not come out, he cut it into pieces with a knife kept in the house and kept it in a sack.
According to Udaipur police, the accused’s parents were not at home at the time of the incident, so he kept the body in the house for two days. However, the police say that the parents of the accused will also be questioned in the case.
