Three RPS officers, who were suspended after the famous Kanhaiyalal murder case of Udaipur, Rajasthan, have been reinstated. The three officers were suspended on July 1, assuming the guilty of negligence in this case. These include one ASP and two DSPs.
At that time, ASP Ashok Meena, DSP Jitendra Anchalia and Jarnail Singh posted in Udaipur city have been reinstated by the state government. The departmental inquiry against them has been completed. Actually, after the murder, more than 12 police officers were suspended in this case. The departmental inquiry against other officers is still on. This includes many police officers, officers of the special branch and policemen.
Let us tell you that on June 28, two radicals, Mohammad Riyaz Attari and Ghaus Mohammad, killed Taylor Kanhaiyalal Teli by slitting their throats in Udaipur. NIA is investigating this matter. All the accused have been identified and their statements have also been recorded once in the court. The NIA had asked for 3 months more time to present the challan, in which about one and a half months have elapsed.

On the other hand, Rajkumar Sharma, an eyewitness of Kanhaiyalal murder case, has been discharged from the hospital. His health is slowly improving. Doctors have assured regular home visits and checkups. Regarding the family going through financial crisis, CM Ashok Gehlot called and inquired about the health of Pushpa Sharma, wife of Rajkumar Sharma. For cooperation, he has asked to meet the collector, so that some way can be found.
