The 15-day Residential Summer Camp organized by Fit 5 Sports Club concluded today with a heartfelt closing ceremony held at the Center for Disability Sports, Gwalior. The event marked not only the end of a successful training journey but also a celebration of each child’s unique progress.
Every participant received a medal, certificate, and a personalized assessment sheet that tracked their growth in key areas such as physical fitness, communication, teamwork, and self-confidence.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Manvendra Singh, Director of the Sports Excellence Center (Special Olympics Bharat), as the Chief Guest, alongside Mr. Rohit Sharma (Senior Technical Advisor), and Mrs. Preeti Tiwari (Special Educator). All guests were warmly welcomed by Fit 5 Sports Club Director Mr. Bhoopendra Bhatt and Camp In-charge Mr. Rohit Raghuwanshi.
Chief Guest Dr. Singh honored all athletes with medals and appreciated their efforts. Coaches were also recognized with certificates and gifts for their dedicated service, including Gajendra Yadav, Saurav Meena, and Priyanka Jonwal.
Notably, Shri Sudhir Kale (Observer) and Manjari Kale from the Family Forum were present and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the camp’s inclusive and empowering efforts.
“This camp wasn’t just about sports; it was about transforming lives,” said one of the coordinators, capturing the spirit of the program.
