Manali, Himachal Pradesh: Under the supervision of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department, Kullu Administration, and organised by Himalayan Xtreme Sports Association with support from local tourism stakeholders and other key sponsors, the Mall Road in Manali came alive with electrifying energy and an overwhelming spirit of resilience as athletes, locals, and visitors came together for Manali Marathon 3.0, a celebration not just of physical endurance, but of mental health, community, and the undying soul of the mountains. Samvaad Connect proudly covered the event, capturing stories, emotions, and the collective pulse of a region rising with renewed hope.
This year, the marathon held special significance. In recent months, Himachal Pradesh faced challenging climate-related disasters, landslides, flash floods, and ecological disruptions. While the mountains suffered, so did the lives and livelihoods of the communities who depend greatly on tourism as their primary source of income. Yet, on this day, Manali echoed not with worry, but with hope, laughter, footsteps and the sound of new beginnings.

Running for Resilience & Mental Health
What made Manali Marathon 3.0 truly special was its strong emphasis on mental health awareness. Samvaad Connect has always believed that emotional well-being is as important as physical wellness, and this event was a powerful reminder of that truth. Running, exercise, and community gatherings are scientifically proven to uplift mood, reduce stress, and build emotional strength. The event embodied this beautifully.
