Rajasthan: 1,111-feet protest by unemployed people

Jaipur: Unemployed people in Rajasthan on Wednesday staged a unique protest in Jaipur demanding the release of results of pending recruitment examinations. Unemployed youth who reached Jaipur from all over the state reached the Staff Selection Commission headquarters with a 1111 feet long memorandum. The unemployed demanded that the government release the results of the pending recruitment examinations as soon as possible and release the calendar of new recruitment. The youth say that if the government does not fulfill our demands, then in the coming time, the unemployed across the state will launch a big agitation against the government.

The unemployed youth reached the Staff Selection Board headquarters at Durgapura in Jaipur on Wednesday morning. They reached the Staff Selection Commission headquarters with a 1111 feet long memorandum led by Upen Yadav, state president of Rajasthan Unemployed Unified Federation. At the commission headquarters, the youth protested for about one and a half hours shouting slogans.

The youth submitted their demand letter to the Secretary of the Staff Selection Board Commission. After this, the youth reached the education complex. After an hour-long sit-in, they met Education Minister BD Kalla and demanded that the results of the pending recruitment examination be released soon.
