Sp MLA beats up BJP municipality candidate’s husband inside police station, video goes viral

In Meerut, Samajwadi Party MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh beat up Deepak Singh, husband of BJP’s municipal candidate Rashmi Singh, in a police station. During this, the police were seen intervening, but the SP MLA did not stop. The case is from Gauriganj Kotwali in Amethi district. Police say that suddenly both sides came face to face, which increased the matter. Now the matter is calm. A case will be registered against both the accused.

In this case, SP MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh says that first Deepak Singh came to the police station and abused, after which he lost his temper. SP MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh alleged that Deepak Singh, husband of the BJP candidate, along with his supporters, was beating up SP supporters, but the police were not taking any action.

MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh was sitting on a sit-in in this matter. Meanwhile, Deepak Singh reached Gauriganj Kotwali. He was beaten up by the SP MLA and his supporters, who were already present there.

SP MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh alleged that for 15 consecutive days, his workers were being beaten up, vehicles of supporters were being broken, supporters were being abused, but the police were not taking any action. They also alleged that some of their workers were kidnapped but no FIR was being registered, so they sat on a sit-in.
