Rafael Nadal edged past Daniil Medvedev in a classic Australian open final on Sunday. Nadal roared back from two sets down to claim a record 21st grand slam men’s title. Nadal pulled off one of his finest performances to win a titanic five-set duel with Medvedev. Nadal said this has been one of the most emotional matches of his tennis career. Only two months back, Nadal had feared that his glorious career might be over due to injury. Nadal had missed Wimbledon due to fatigue and the US open because of a chronic condition in his left foot.
