Lucknow Tennis Cricket League 2026 to Give Uttar Pradesh Players a Professional Platform at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium

Published on

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: The Lucknow Tennis Cricket League (LTCL) is set to create a major platform for tennis-ball cricket players across Uttar Pradesh, with its main event scheduled for October 4, 2026, at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow. The league aims to bring talented players from different cities onto one platform while giving them an opportunity to gain professional exposure and showcase their cricketing abilities to a wider audience.

A key attraction of LTCL 2026 will be the planned live broadcast of matches on television and OTT platforms. The initiative is expected to provide participating players with greater visibility and help bring tennis-ball cricket to a larger audience.

City-Wise Tennis Cricket Trials Across Uttar Pradesh

The primary objective of the Lucknow Tennis Cricket League is to identify and promote promising tennis-ball cricket talent from across Uttar Pradesh. To achieve this, city-wise trials are being organized in different parts of the state.

The first LTCL trial in Lucknow is scheduled for August 17, 2026, followed by trials in cities including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Moradabad, Agra and Noida.

Through these trials, players from different cities and backgrounds will have an opportunity to compete for a place in the league and demonstrate their skills in front of selectors and cricket professionals.

International Cricket Experience Comes to LTCL

One of the major highlights of LTCL is its association with international cricket personalities. New Zealand international cricketer Jesse Ryder has joined the league as its brand ambassador, while Sri Lankan cricketer Lakshitha Ranasinghe will serve as a mentor.

Their involvement is expected to add an international dimension to the tournament and strengthen its professional identity. Players participating in LTCL can also benefit from the experience, knowledge and guidance associated with international-level cricket.

The league’s mentorship and branding initiatives are designed to make LTCL more than just a tournament by creating opportunities for players to gain exposure and learn from experienced cricket professionals.

Open-Age Tournament for Tennis-Ball Cricket Players

The Lucknow Tennis Cricket League is an open-age tennis-ball cricket tournament, allowing players from different age groups to participate. Registration categories have been designed according to playing roles.

  • Batsman / Bowler: ₹699
  • Wicketkeeper-Batsman / All-rounder: ₹899

Registrations are currently open, and players across Uttar Pradesh can participate through the city-wise trial process.

With tennis-ball cricket having a strong grassroots following, LTCL aims to connect talented players with a more organized and professional competitive environment. The league’s focus on talent identification, player exposure and live broadcasting could provide participating players with an opportunity to reach audiences beyond their local cricket communities.

LTCL 2026: A New Platform for Uttar Pradesh Cricket Talent

The October 4 event at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium, Lucknow, is expected to be an important milestone for the Lucknow Tennis Cricket League. By bringing together players selected through trials across Uttar Pradesh, LTCL aims to create a prominent stage for emerging tennis-ball cricket talent.

With international cricket personalities associated with the league, city-wise player trials, multiple participation categories and planned television and OTT coverage, LTCL 2026 is positioning itself as an emerging platform for tennis-ball cricket in Uttar Pradesh.

The league’s broader vision is to identify local talent, provide professional exposure and create new opportunities for tennis-ball cricket players who are looking for a larger stage to showcase their abilities.

As registrations and city-wise trials continue, cricket enthusiasts and aspiring tennis-ball cricket players across Uttar Pradesh will be watching closely as LTCL moves toward its main event on October 4, 2026, at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow.
