Ola is seizing the opportunity in the flourishing $5-billion quick commerce market with a range of new announcements that will pit it against established players like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto. Their new offerings will also compete with Flipkart Minutes, recently launched by the Walmart-owned company.

The quick commerce sector has experienced significant growth, transitioning from a nice-to-have to a must-have in 2021, as noted by analysts at UBS. Companies like Blinkit have played a crucial role in the growth journey of Zomato, as emphasised by company executives and analysts. Similarly, Zepto is rapidly expanding and recently secured a $1 billion funding deal in just 50-60 days, showcasing investor confidence in the industry, as reported by Moneycontrol.
