According to the information, a young man named Hemraj used to earn a living by demanding money from people in Maldas Street area. On Saturday night, a speeding Alto car hit Hemraj and dragged him to Ayurveda Hospital, about 200 meters away. After this, the locals saw him lying on the road in an injured condition and rushed him to the hospital. Where he died during treatment.

Hemraj was crushed to death by a car after CCTV footage surfaced on Monday, two days after the accident. Earlier, it was believed that he died after being hit by an unknown vehicle.

According to ghantaghar police station, information about the accident came to light late on Saturday night. Several CCTVs were checked around the police, but due to the failure of the CCTV, the investigation was being done as a collision of an unknown vehicle. But on Monday, a CCTV screen revealed such an accident. After which the police have registered a case. The car number is being traced and a search is on for the youths. There were four young men in the car.

It is being told that the parents of the deceased Hemraj have already died. He lived in Maldas Street for a long time and used to earn his living by demanding.
