Know that the country’s giant Reliance Industries Limited has presented the results of the March quarter (RIL Q4 Result) of the financial year 2022-23 on Friday. The company surprised everyone by reporting a consolidated net profit of Rs 19,229 crore in the fourth quarter. This increase is more than the estimate given by the analyst of the market. On the other hand, on an annual basis, the consolidated revenue increased by about two percent to Rs 2.16 lakh crore.

Excellent performance of Reliance Jio
Reliance Industry’s Jio Platform (JIO) has registered a consolidated quarterly revenue of Rs 29871 crore on an annual basis. Which is considered to be a great performance. If seen in this quarter, the average revenue per user of Reliance Jio is Rs 178.8.
Retail Ventures
Good performance has also been shown in Reliance’s retail business. Reliance’s retail ventures have recorded Rs 69267 crore as consolidated revenue on year-on-year basis. While the operating profit was recorded at Rs 4914 crore.
Oil to Chemical Business
On the other hand, if we look at Reliance Company’s oil to chemical business, then here the company has given a mixed performance. The operating profit of the company is 16293 crores on year on year basis. which has already increased.

The reason for this is that a major shareholding company of Air Works has gone into liquidation and due to this there is continuous delay in completion of the deal.

Slowest growth in five quarters
The company’s net profit in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2021-22 was Rs 4,173 crore. However, Jio’s revenue growth and profit growth in the March quarter was the slowest in five quarters. The company’s revenue growth and profit growth have been slow due to high expenses and no recent tariff hike.
The income from operations during the January to March quarter 2023 stood at Rs 23,394 crore. This shows 12 percent growth on an annual basis. The company’s revenue has been as per estimates.
License fees and spectrum charges stood at Rs 2,155 crore in the March quarter. It was 14 per cent lower than Rs 2,504 crore in the March quarter last year. However, the company’s total expenditure increased to Rs 17,172 crore during the January to March quarter. It was Rs 15,353 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
