Aligarh! In the literary fortnight of 14 September “Hindi National Day” “Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hindi Vidyapeeth Government of India” will organize a National Hindi Convention and Honor Ceremony. In which the well-known Hindi literature scholars, writers and writers of the country will be honored with the “Honorary Degree of Vidya Vachaspati Doctorate”.
In this sequence, Dr. Indu Bhushan Mishra Devendu, Vice Chancellor of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Hindi Vidyapeeth Government of India, issued a letter saying that this time, in view of the education, qualification and 40 years of long experience of lyricist Avneesh Rahi, a strong signature of literature from “Neeraj Ki Nagri” Aligarh, who has given a new dimension to his songs at the international level, educationist lyricist Avneesh Rahi, for his incomparable contribution in achieving special achievements in the field of art, literature, culture, teaching and song-writing, he will be honored with the “highest honor” of “Honorary Degree of Vidya Vachaspati Doctorate 2024”.
This honor will be given to lyricist Rahi in the Hindi National Convention and Honor Ceremony organized in New Delhi on 29 September 2024. In which Mr. Rahi’s poetry collection “Un Dinon-1992” will also be released. This poetry collection contains those rare creations of lyricist Rahi which he wrote when he was a child between 10 to 17 years.
Lyricist Avnish Rahi, life member of “The Film and Screen Writers Association Mumbai”, is today spreading the fragrance of his pen not only in Bollywood and Hollywood but also at the international level. It should be known that some of the special songs of lyricist Rahi are listened to with great fervor even in 40 Buddhist countries.
Lyricist Avnish Rahi, presently employed as a lecturer at Hiralal Barhasaini Inter College, Aligarh, has so far composed nearly 1000 songs filled with various emotions on various aspects, out of which 550 songs have been released in the form of 100 audio/video cassettes, CD/DVD musical albums by various companies such as T-Series, Tips, Venus, Lara, Chanda, JVL, Shabnam, Rahul, Sisodia, Treasure, Sai Records, etc., in which playback singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal, Alka Yagnik, Sadhna Sargam, Anup Jalota, Shahid Mallya, Tripti Shakya, Khushboo Jain, Vandana Bajpai, Debashishdas Gupta, Shabab Sabri, Damodar Rao, Raja Hassan have lent their voices.
If we talk about poetry collections, about a dozen poetry collections of Shri Rahi have been published, in which Rahi’s timeless creations Kalam Ki Vedna, Un Dino-1992, Jeevan Gyanpunj, Zakhmi Kalam-Sisakte Nagme, Bhakton Ki Pukar, Bheem Garjana, Rajiv Gandhi Amar Rahenge, etc. are prominent. Along with this, many poetry collections are under publication. Besides this, Shri Rahi has also written huge books like Bhim Charit Manas Mahakavya, Buddha Gyan Mahasagar and Kanshi Ram Charit Manas Mahakavya in joint authorship of his father, litterateur and poet Amar Singh Rahi. These books have been released by the then Honourable President Dr. Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Dr. Hamid Ansari and Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
IPRS Some of the famous compositions of lyricist Avnish Rahi, life member of Mumbai, have been filmed on Shri Rahi himself, such as musical films Suno Bheem Kahani, Mahakarunik Da Lord Buddha, while another musical film “Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jeevan Gatha” is quite famous, which has been released by T-Series company. This musical film has received the love of crores of viewers so far.
Currently, lyricist Avnish Rahi is staying in his newly built building “Geet Mahal” in Ozone City of Aligarh metropolis and writing songs for many big screen feature films of Mumbai.
