For blue tick i.e. verified accounts on Twitter, the user will now have to pay $ 8 (about Rs 660) every month. This charge will vary from country to country. Elon Musk announced this on Tuesday night, 5 days after buying Twitter on October 27. However, he had indicated this two days ago, when some media reports said that Musk could recover $ 20 (about Rs 1,600) from verified accounts. In response to this, Musk said that we will also have to pay many types of bills. We cannot completely depend on advertisers. How about the eight dollar charge?

On the other hand, after receiving complaints from all over the world for paying blue ticks, Elon Musk has made it clear that all complainants, please continue to complain, but you will have to pay $ 8.

Those taking a paid subscription will get these five types of facilities.

  1. Reply
  2. Mention
  3. Priority will be given in the search.
  4. Will be able to post long videos and audios.
  5. Half of the ads will be seen as compared to normal users.

Let us tell you that no fee is charged from Twitter Verified at present. Users are given a blue tick after entering the company’s prescribed process i.e. request. Any user whose profile is ticked on it means that that account is verified. But now for Blue Tick on Twitter, the user will have to take a subscription. Now every month 8 dollars i.e. 660 rupees will have to be paid. However, from when the paid service will be implemented, its date has not been announced yet.

Regarding the verification charge, Elon Musk said that the fee may vary from country to country. These fees will depend on the purchasing power and capacity of that country. How much it will be in India, there is no information yet. Whereas, those who are public figures i.e. celebrities like politicians and actors will get secondary tag on the profile. This secondary tag is currently available only in some countries. This tag is currently, labeled China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine Japan, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, United States, Belarus, Canada, Germany, Italy, Honduras, Indonesia, Offered in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Currently this tag is not available in India.

Let us tell you that Twitter is currently working on revamping the verification process. The employees working on this project of Twitter have been given a deadline of November 7 to launch this feature. If they fail to do so within the stipulated time, they will be fired from the company. Currently, most of Twitter’s revenue comes from advertising, but Musk wants half of the total revenue from subscriptions.
