Jaipur: Rs 6-8 lakh was looted from Punjab National Bank in Broad daylight at Vair in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, at 11 am on Thursday. Three masked miscreants who entered the bank took the bank employees hostage at gunpoint. After this, the miscreants looted Rs 6-8 lakh from the bank. Not only this, the main gate of the bank was also closed from outside while leaving.
According to the police, seven employees and two customers were present in the bank at the time of the incident. As soon as he entered the bank, a miscreant went to the counter of the woman cashier and pointed a pistol at her. The cashier had Rs 6 to 8 lakh. At the same time, two other miscreants held the other staff of the bank hostage and made them stand in a corner. The miscreants fled after filling the money in the bag from the cash counter. After the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
At the same time, there is doubt about how much money the miscreants looted from the bank. Police officials say that the miscreants have looted Rs 6 lakh. While the bank officials are talking about looting Rs 8 lakh. Based on records and interrogation, the police are trying to find out how much money has been looted.
According to the assistant manager of the bank, there were three miscreants in the incident. They had weapons. On seeing them, all the employees of the bank panicked. The miscreants made all the bank employees stand in a corner before leaving and then left the bank threatening them. The miscreants also locked the main gate of the bank from outside before fleeing. After the miscreants left, the police were informed.
