Changing lives – One kid at a time!

Money is not everything and 36 years old Anuj Harshwardhan Sharma, hailing from Gurgaon, Haryana is out there to prove it. Born in a middle-class family from Kurukshetra, Haryana, he was an average student with above average aspirations. While in school, he loved superhero cartoons, getting impressed from those who were saving the world regularly. He too wanted to save the world but the life taught him that being a superhero might not be as easy as he had thought. His studies took him to Bhopal, Nagpur and Delhi where he got a taste of challenges people faced in day to day lives.
Whenever he was unsure about anything he rushed to his parents for guidance. His parents Uma and Harsh Wardhan Sharma guided him through the challenges of lives. His journey smoothened whenever they became his light-post.
One such day, he was sitting besides the Futala lake in Nagpur when a dark reality made its way into his head. This one thought was going to change life – not just his but many. He was struggling with something and was sure to discuss the same with his parents but for just once he thought, what if his parents were not there to guide him? He went numb. What about those who do not have anyone to look up to?
Life happened, things changed, he moved to Delhi but this one thought stayed. First, he started donating whenever he could to help those who were in need but was money enough? What if whenever he needed guidance, instead of guidance he had received money? He knew there was something missing and he must do something about it.
In 2022, when the world was fighting the COVID 19 pandemic he was busy creating something life changing. 26th February 2022 he gave the world what he believes is the first of its kind book written solely for those who never had parents. This book provides guidance and is aimed at orphan kids. He poured his heart out and penned down everything he could think of that might give a ray of light to those who never had parents to learn from.
“Look within – I’m your Mother” is not just a book but his mission to reach out to Orphan kids across the globe and for that purpose he published this book without securing any copyright. He is inviting authors from across the globe to access his book for free from his website and use it, edit it and take it to the orphan kids in their countries. He never intended to make money from this work and is currently working on the second part of this book “I will always have your back – I’m your Father”.
In the modern world where people believe only money changes lives, here is a man who is doing the same with his words. He believes that even if his words can guide one kid to the right path, his hard-work paid off and he succeeded.
Money might be one of the most important drivers of today’s time but this work is a proof that the old saying still holds truth – Money is not everything.
