An Innovative Initiative by ‘Melody Plus’:
OTT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has embarked on a unique journey to revive the nearly forgotten treasures of Bengali music through their new project, Melody Plus. With the aim of breathing new life into the rich heritage of Bengali songs by infusing them with a touch of modern music, Melody Plus marks a significant new beginning. As the first offering of this ongoing initiative, the timeless Bhatiali song “O Amar Dorodi” by folk poet Jasimuddin has been released.
Folk Music in a New Form:
The original lyrics of the song were penned by the legendary folk poet Jasimuddin and composed by pioneer of Bengali folk music Abbasuddin Ahmed. In this new version, the music has been rearranged by Kaustav Hait and Rudra Majumder, and vocals rendered by popular Bengali singer Poushali Banerjee. Antorip Adhikari handled the mixing and mastering. The entire production and digital distribution were managed by OTT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The song has already topped multiple playlists across platforms.
