Even though, it has got nothing to do with the success of a person, but still how everyone, especially parents and schools (of course not all, but the stat is huge) connect the success with the IQ. Author described how different skills of a person would help them to succeed in life rather than sticking on general intelligence. He compared the emotional intelligence to general intelligence, telling the benefits of SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Book displays the drawbacks of present education system and needs of SEL for school students so that they just not excel in academics, but also prepare them in a way that they achieve higher quality life.
