A young man died tragically after he was trapped in a thresher in Alwar, Rajasthan. In just 10 seconds, his body was divided into two parts. His neck was separated from the body and stuck in the machine, while the rest of the body remained outside. The incident took place at 1.30 am on Monday in Kadaiya village under Kotkasim police station area of Alwar. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and took the body pieces to Kotkasim CHC tied in potli.
According to the information, the deceased Gajendra Rajput was working with thresher owner RamNiwas, a resident of Gurgachka, for the last 10 years. On Monday night, he took the thresher to Govind Ahir, a resident of his own village Kadaiah. During this time, they were extracting wheat between 1.30 and 2 pm. Gajendra Rajput was putting wheat culverts in threshers. There were four or five workers there. In the meantime, suddenly there was a loud sound in the thresher, so I thought that a stone had gone inside the thresher. At this point, the workers shouted from behind that the man has gone in the thresher. Hearing this, he stopped the thresher, but by then half of Gajendra’s body had gone into the thresher. Seeing gajendra’s body parts, other labourers were so scared that they went home from the field.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem at 11 pm on Tuesday. According to the police, the farm owner informed at around 6 am that the young man died after coming in the thresher. When they reached the spot, the body was broken into pieces. During this time, the body was trapped in the thresher all night. It is being told that one of Gajendra’s hands got stuck between the drops running inside the thresher and he went inside the entire thresher. Due to which half of his body was trapped between the girders and his body was broken into pieces as he went inside.
