The PEC Festival put a strong spotlight on women’s health this year. As part of the program, the Women Empowerment Cell introduced the poster and trailer of the upcoming Bollywood movie Me No Pause Me Play. The film is written and produced by Manoj Kumar Sharma and aims to bring menopause into everyday conversation, a topic that is often ignored or misunderstood.

The poster reveal was followed by a special screening of the trailer inside the auditorium. Students, teachers, and guests watched it with full attention. Me No Pause Me Play is a heartwarming and empowering story of women navigating life’s transitions, rediscovering their strength, and redefining identity beyond age, delivering a powerful message of awareness and acceptance around menopause Kamya Punjabi Deepshikha Nagpal Manoj Kumar Sharma and other well-known actors who bring depth to the subject.

During the interaction, the team spoke about why menopause needs more awareness, especially among young people who may not fully understand what women go through during this stage. They explained the emotional changes, physical symptoms, and the social silence that often surrounds it. Many students said that the session helped them look at the topic with more empathy.

Participants also shared that seeing a mainstream film address this issue feels refreshing. The trailer received an enthusiastic response, with several students saying they are looking forward to watching the movie with their families.

The Women Empowerment Cell added that events like this help build understanding across generations and encourage open, supportive conversations about women’s health.
