Jodhpur: Three youths were killed and two others injured in a collision between a truck and a Bolero camper in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, police said on Sunday. The accident took place on the Jodhpur National Highway, about 30 km from Nagaur city. Here, in a face-to-face collision, the Bolero’s wings were blown away. There were a total of five people in the Bolero, out of which three died on the spot.
According to the police, the accident took place near the petrol pump between Bhakrod-Tankala in Khinwsar area at 11:40 pm on Monday. The police reached the spot immediately upon being informed. Sukhram Luhar, Sunil Giri and Narayan Ram Luhar died on the spot. Laxman Singh and Manaram, who were travelling in the camper, were injured.
It is being told that the youths riding the camper had left for Nagaur after their work on Monday evening. He had filled petrol from the pump in the middle. They then left for Nagaur. After filling petrol, the young men were looking for a dhaba for food. During this time the accident took place. Police are investigating the case.
