10 to 80 per cent lusterless wheat will be procured with a full price cut, for a quarter. Wheat without shine will be procured only up to 80 percent. Wheat without luster will not be purchased more than this percentage. Instructions have been given to the procurement centers to keep a proper record of wheat without lustre.
MP Wheat Procurement: There is good news for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. The procurement of wheat on the support price has started from April 1, which will continue till May 15. The MP government has fixed the support price of wheat at Rs 2125 per quintal. SMS will not be sent to farmers for purchase. Registered farmers will book the day and time slot online by selecting the procurement center themselves. On the basis of which wheat will be procured from the farmers. The purchase centers where slots will not be booked. From there farmers will be informed about the purchase through SMS. According to the decision taken in the same cabinet meeting, the farmers will be given a relief amount of Rs 32 thousand per hectare, while wheat without shine will also be purchased, although the government has fixed some guidelines for this.
Guidelines for purchase of shineless wheat
The state government has issued a guideline regarding the purchase of shineless wheat at the support price. Under this, up to 10 percent shineless wheat will be procured with no value cut.

Wheat without shine will be procured only up to 80 percent. Wheat without luster will not be purchased up to more than this percentage.
The procurement centers have been instructed to keep proper record of shineless wheat.
What percentage of wheat is lusterless in the farmer’s weighed produce, along with this, there are instructions to compulsorily enter online the percentage of lusterless wheat in the farmer’s data by the concerned surveyor in the surveyor app and e-procurement software.
Shineless wheat will be kept separately in the procurement centres. Marking will be done with red ink on the wheat sacks without shine at the procurement center.
If the wheat received from procurement institutions is found to be lusterless than the permitted percentage of lusterless, such trucks will not be accepted for storage and will be returned to the concerned procurement centre.
Rules for purchase of farmers on MSP
During registration, farmers will have to give information about the area in which they have sown wheat and when they would like to sell the produce at which centre.
If the farmer’s land is in another district, then registration will be done in that district. Registration of farmers will be done only in that situation when the name registered in the account and Khasra will match with the name registered in the Aadhaar card.
In case of discrepancy in the documents, verification of registration will be done from Tehsil office. Verification of Aadhaar number for wheat registration will be done from OTP received on linked mobile number or from biometric device.
Farmers can get themselves registered by visiting the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies. In this, the farmers will have to give information about the area of sowing, which will be verified by the Patwaris. The payment will be made in the bank account linked to the Aadhaar number only so that there is no disturbance of any kind.
Compulsory SMS for farmers to sell crops: Has been abolished. To sell crops, farmers will be able to sell wheat by selecting the procurement centre, date and time slot near the prescribed e-registration portal.
After giving the wheat, the purchase bill will be issued on the basis of biometric verification of the procurement in-charge and the farmer. The verification will be done through OTP sent to the registered mobile or biometric device.
Wheat will be procured through cooperative societies and self-help groups. They will have to make arrangements for cleaning and grading of grains at the procurement center on outsourcing basis. The cost of cleaning the grains will be borne by the farmers.
