The police operation in search of Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal continued for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday. The bike in which Amritpal escaped was recovered by the police on Wednesday. The bike was found abandoned in Darapur area, about 45 km from Jalandhar. On the other hand, the police questioned Amritpal’s mother for about an hour in Jallupur Khera village of Amritsar at around 12 noon.
A day before this, on Tuesday, a picture of Amritpal surfaced, in which his face is seen changed. He has shaved off his beard and taken off the traditional Sikh arrow and is in a turban. He is seen sitting on a bike in a shirt and jeans. According to the police, Amritpal had reached Nangal Ambia village in a Brezza car where he held the gurdwara’s granthi hostage and changed his mood here. He then fled on a bike.
Police have recovered the Brezza car from Manpreet Manna’s house in Shahkot. Manna is being described as Amritpal’s media advisor. Apart from him, Gurdeep Deepa, Harpreet Happy and Gurbhej Bhejja have also been arrested. Rifles, walkie talkie and swords were also seized from the Brezza car. Amritpal used them. The search for Amritpal continues.
