Trucks stand on most parts of the road built for the common people and those who have little space left to get out also sweat to get out.

Sand mining is done on a large scale in Chhatarpur district, in which Goyra, Rampur and Gaurihar areas under Chandla assembly constituency of Chhatarpur are prominent. Legal contract becomes hub of illegal sand mining
Pushpa Enterprises company has a contract for legal sand mining in Chhatarpur for the last one year, but this legal sand mining is now gradually moving towards illegal sand mining. The sand mafia is colluding with the government to siphon off the revenue of the government. Pokland machines used to find sand are now digging sand inside the river, which is against the rules. This work is going on not at one or two places but on almost every ghat of the river originating from Goyra and Gaurihar police station areas of Chhatarpur. The situation is that if you stand on the bridge of Rampur connecting Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on the Ken River and just look right and left, you will see many Pokland machines and lifters digging sand between the river. It is not that the administration is not aware of this, all this is happening under the nose of the administration, instead of helping the public, the administration is only engaged in making trucks cross the border safely.
