On Friday, December 2, the Cirkus trailer, which had been eagerly awaited by fans, was released. While Deepika Padukone makes her first cameo appearance, Ranveer Singh plays two roles for the first time. Tomorrow, December 8, marks the debut of the first song from the movie, and Ranveer has just unveiled the video.
Yesterday Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were seen dancing as they unveiled the teaser for ‘Current Laga Re.’ “CURRENT LAGA RE!!! SONG DROPS TOMORROW #CirkusThisChristmas #CurrentLagaRe @deepikapadukone #RohitShetty,” said Ranveer.
Ranveer Singh gushed about Deepika’s participation in the song at the trailer presentation, describing it as “zabardast” and “high voltage.” Ranveer turned to Rohit Shetty when he was questioned about Deepika’s response to the song.
Ranveer said, “She had come to my office yesterday to see the song, and Boss (Rohit Shetty) showed her the song. Boss, kaisa laga bhabhi ko?” But before Shetty could respond to the query, a member in the audience yelled, “Accha laga, accha laga.”
Cirkus is based on The Comedy of Errors, which provided the basis for the 1960s-era Gulzar cult comedy Angoor. Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, and many more appear in the movie in a variety of roles. Cirkus, a Rohit Shetty-directed film, is scheduled for a Christmas 2022 theatrical debut on December 23.
