Six suspected deaths have been reported in Udaipur’s Gogunda area. Police have found the bodies of six people in Gol Nedi village near Jharoli under Gogunda police station area. The dead include four children and a couple. The police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Prakash (40) and his wife Durga (35). They have four children. The youngest son is 4 months old. Three children Ganesh (5), Pushkar (4), Roshan (2) were found hanging. At the same time, the woman was found dead on the bed with her 4-month-old child Gangaram. Prakash’s two brothers also have houses near his house. Their houses are built on the side of the field.
The police are prima facie treating it as a case of suicide. However, the children are hanging on their own or at someone’s behest. This is under investigation. Police are investigating from every angle whether it is murder or suicide.
According to the police, the deceased, Prakash, had returned to the village from Surat in Gujarat three months ago. He used to do cleaning work in the kitchen and had been ill for a long time. Because of this, he did not return to work. The police are considering it as a case of suicide, considering it as a major reason for the financial crisis.
According to the police, there is a raw verandah outside Prakash’s house. Everyone was found dead in the room inside it. In front of Prakash’s house is also the house of his younger brother Durgaram. Around 8:30 am, when the door of Prakash’s house did not open, he got suspicious. He opened the door and found the bodies lying inside. In such a situation, he deposited the villagers and told sarpanch Padmaram Gameti. After which the police also reached the spot and started investigating.
