A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Nagaur, Rajasthan. Here the father killed his own family sleeping with an axe. The accused killed two daughters with an axe. His wife and brother-in-law were also seriously injured. The incident took place at 2 am on Monday at Dildhani in Parbatsar police station area of Nagaur district.
According to the information, the younger daughter was to be sent to her in-laws’ house on Tuesday. On Monday night, the whole family went to sleep preparing. Meanwhile, at around 2 am, Manaram woke up and started attacking his two daughters, Dohite and his wife Kesar with an axe kept in the house. In the attack, both daughters Rekha and Meera died on the spot, while Kesar and Prince were seriously injured. After the attack, as soon as there was a scream in the house, people from the neighborhood reached the spot. There was blood in the house. On receiving the information, the police also reached the spot and inspected the spot. The police have detained the accused father. Police are trying to ascertain the motive behind the murder from the accused.
Manaram is mentally ill, police said. Younger daughter Rekha is married in Baru, she had to leave for her in-laws’ house in the morning. So Manaram’s elder daughter Meera also came to Pihar with her 7-year-old son Prince. Preparations were going on in the house to send the younger daughter to her in-laws’ house. According to the police, the accused, Manaram, had fallen while working in the mine about 10 years ago. Since then, he has been mentally ill. His nature was also angry and he used to abuse. People in the neighbourhood said that everything was fine by Monday evening. The two sisters, including the mother, had applied mehndi sitting in the courtyard of the house, but suddenly Manaram did not know what happened and late at night he attacked the sleeping family with an axe.
