Neeraj Chopra has decided to prolong his stay in Germany by an additional 45 days for the sake of his health and his future career, following his silver medal win at the Paris Olympics.

He is seeking medical advice regarding a potential surgery and weighing his options for participating in upcoming Diamond League events.

It has been confirmed by a family source that he will not be returning to India during this 45-day period, choosing to concentrate on his recovery and training in Germany instead. This decision was made after a tough Olympic journey where he narrowly missed defending his gold medal.
