On Wednesday, 10 policemen were martyred in a Naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.
These jawans belonged to the District Reserve Guard (DRG) unit. The driver of the vehicle also died in the attack. This team was going to rescue the security forces trapped in the rain. Meanwhile, the Naxalites blew up the policemen’s vehicle by blasting the IED.
According to information, the attack took place between Aranpur-Sameli in Aranpur police station area of Dantewada district. It is being told that there was an encounter between the police and the Naxalites here. During this encounter, the Naxalites hurled a bomb at the vehicle, killing ten policemen and the driver.
Head constables Joga Sodhi, Munna Ram Kadti, Santosh Tamo, new constables Dulgo Mandavi, Lakhmu Markam, Joga Kawasi, Hariram Mandavi, Raju Ram Karatam, Jairam Podiyam Jagdish Kawasi and driver Dhaniram Yadav are among those who were martyred in the Maoist attack.
