Nandan Nilekani, the mastermind behind Aadhaar and co-founder-chairman of Infosys, stated that India’s priority isn’t racing to develop Large Language Models (LLMs). Instead, the focus will be on creating artificial intelligence (AI) applications that benefit every citizen. He envisions India becoming the global leader in AI use-cases, labeling it as “Adbhut” (wonderful).
