Baba Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has been in the headlines for several days. He was accused by Shyam Manav, chairman of the Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, of promoting superstition. After investigating these allegations, Nagpur Police has given a clean chit to Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham on Wednesday. Police said they have not found evidence of spreading superstition, there was no violation of law in Nagpur.
Bageshwar Baba has reacted to this. Baba Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham told the media that Hindu Rashtra means Ram Rajya. Hindu Rashtra means the support of all religions. He said that sanatan’s propaganda is not superstition. I have full faith in the law and the Constitution and that has won today. We have not spread any superstition. Baba Dhirendra Shastri said that some people did not even accept Lord Shri Ram. We are nothing ahead of Shri Ram.
Shyam Manav, chairman of the Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, who has accused Baba, said, “If any person, any Baba gives an assurance that you will be benefited, you will get married, you will get a job, the disease will go away, then it comes under the category of legal crime.” If a person who does not get a doctor’s degree, is not available, if he diagnoses someone or even gives assurance, then it will also be wrong under the law. However, Bageshwar Baba has got a clean chit.
