New Delhi, Agency: More than 200 exhibitions and conferences have been planned in the next 2 years at Yashobhoomi, the country’s largest convention centre.

PM Modi had inaugurated the India International Convention and Expo Center (IICC) – Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, Delhi on 17th September i.e. his birthday.

Yashobhoomi is spread over an area of more than 221 acres.

The entire project of Yashobhoomi is built on an area of 221.37 acres in Dwarka Sector 25 at an estimated cost of Rs 25,703 crore.  The total area of the project is more than 123 acres of Bharat Mandapam.

According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, it is expected that the government wants to include New Delhi in the list of Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore in the field of exhibition market.

 China ranks first in Asia
