Jaipur: A 17-year-old boy allegedly drove a car and rammed into a scooty, bike and a parked car in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, police said on Sunday. Three fingers of the woman riding the scooty were cut off in the accident. Two youths riding the bike were seriously injured. The people gathered at the spot caught the minor driving the car. At the same time, the injured were taken to the hospital.
The police registered a case against the minor and the owner of the car and handed over the child to the father of the accident victim.
According to the police, a speeding car hit several vehicles near Pradhan Marg around 1 pm on Thursday. The car was being driven by a minor. He first hit the scooty in the wind, then hit a bike and a parked car.
The injured have been identified as Divya Kayathwal, a resident of Pradhan Marg, Hitesh Agarwal, a resident of Gangapol Subhash Chowk, and Manoj Sharma, a resident of Jaisinghpura Khor. All three have fractured their hands and legs, who are admitted to the hospital. The minor, who was driving the car, is originally from Etawah in UP and currently lives with his family at the NABARD staff quarters in Malviya Nagar.
