While the CBI continues to make progress in the Bihar NEET-UG paper leak case, a new cheating scandal has been uncovered in Rajasthan during a State Open School examination. Students were caught cheating openly in Phalodi, where answers were written on a whiteboard in the examination hall to aid them in the Class 10 exam.
This incident occurred during a raid led by Secretary Aruna Rajoria at the examination centre in Dechu, Phalodi. Meanwhile, the CBI also made significant arrests in the NEET-UG paper leak case in Jharkhand.
The total number of people arrested in connection with various irregularities in the medical entrance exam has now reached 14. The leaked question paper was allegedly sourced from Oasis School in Hazaribagh by the solver gang led by Sanjeev Kumar alias Lutan Mukhiya.
The EOU of Bihar Police confirmed the leak’s origin by matching a burnt question paper recovered in Patna with a reference question paper from the NTA. NEET-UG, conducted by the NTA, is an entrance exam for various medical courses with over 23 lakh candidates appearing this year.
