Delhi’s Patiala House Court has sent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to NIA remand for 7 days. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in Bathinda Jail in Punjab. The court has also asked the NIA to submit the evidence in the court after the remand period is over.
Lawrence Bishnoi was produced in Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday. Where NIA demanded 7 days remand of Lawrence, which was accepted by the court. Along with this, the court asked to present the evidence after the custody is over. Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in Punjab’s Bathinda Central Jail, was brought to Delhi by the NIA on Monday for questioning in a case, after which he was produced in Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday. From where the court sent him on remand for 7 days.
According to information, the NIA had brought Lawrence Bishnoi to Delhi on a production warrant for questioning in a case registered last year and sought remand for 7 days by presenting him in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. The court has also asked the investigating agency to ensure the security of Lawrence Bishnoi. A case was registered against Lawrence Vishnoi in 2022 under the UAPA Act. NIA has to inquire in this matter.
