Dhanbad, April 22, 2026:
On the occasion of International Earth Day, an environmental awareness program titled Paryavaran Pathshala was organized today at Little Butterfly Pre School Phase 1 in collaboration with Jai Dharti Maa Foundation. The program aimed to educate young children about environmental conservation, tree plantation, and the importance of protecting Mother Earth.
The special guest at the event was Ravi Kumar Nishad, who motivated the children to love and protect nature. During the program, children enthusiastically participated in various activities related to nature and environmental protection. They were taught simple yet inspiring lessons about water conservation, reducing pollution, maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings, and planting more trees for a greener future.
Members of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation addressed the students and explained that even the smallest effort can make a significant contribution toward protecting the Earth. On this occasion, fruit-bearing saplings were planted within the school premises by the children, and each child was also gifted a plant to take home and care for as part of the environmental initiative.
The children actively participated in the plantation drive with great excitement and took a pledge to regularly nurture and protect the plants. Their enthusiasm and happiness made the event truly memorable and inspiring.
The school management appreciated the efforts of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation for organizing such a meaningful initiative and thanked the foundation for spreading awareness about environmental conservation among young minds. The management also stated that children are the future of the nation, and teaching them the importance of nature and environmental responsibility from an early age can help build a greener and healthier tomorrow.
Teachers and staff members present at the event included Khushboo Agrawal, Piyu Goswami, Ritika Kumari, Chanchala, Aman Raj, and Ravi Shekhar.
Representing the foundation were co-founder Ranjit Kumar, District Secretary Sahdev Mahato, District Tribal Welfare Officer Sudhir Kumar, District Program Officer Mohammad Shamsher Ali, Manager Ram Kumar, and Ravi Nishad, who encouraged children to protect nature and plant more trees.
The program concluded with a strong message encouraging everyone to protect the environment together and celebrate every day as Earth Day for a sustainable and healthy future.
