A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Karnataka. A man allegedly killed his father and then chopped his body into 32 pieces in Karnataka’s Bagalkot. According to the police, the accused threw the body parts in a borewell. After the murder was revealed, the police recovered the body parts of the deceased. The accused Vitthala Kulali has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
According to the police, on December 6, 20-year-old Vithla allegedly killed his father Parshuram Kulali with an iron rod in a fit of rage. It is being told that Parashuram often used to abuse Vithala, the younger of his two sons, under the influence of alcohol. Parashuram’s wife and elder son live separately.
It is being told that last Tuesday also, Vitthala’s father started abusing him. Enraged by this, the son picked up an iron rod and killed his father. After the murder, Vitthala cut Parashuram’s body into 32 pieces. He then dumped the pieces in a borewell in his field near Mantur bypass on the outskirts of Mudhol in Bagalkot district.
The police were informed after a foul smell emanated from the borewell. Police rushed to the spot and suspected Vitthala’s role in the alleged murder. Vitthala was taken to the police station and during interrogation, he allegedly confessed to the crime. Police recovered the chopped parts of the body from the borewell and sent it for post-mortem. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
