INS Teg, an Indian Navy warship, successfully rescued nine crew members, eight Indians and one Sri Lankan, after an oil tanker overturned near Oman.
The Navy has been conducting search and rescue operations in collaboration with Omani authorities since July 16, with challenging weather conditions complicating the effort. Additionally, India’s Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance aircraft P81 is aiding in the search for any remaining survivors.
