Delhi University students dragged, assaulted by police

Delhi University students have been detained by the police while they were taking out a march in support of wrestlers. On Sunday, Bajrang Punia had sought support from the students. After which the students of Delhi University were taking out a march. The students have also accused the police of indecency and assault. The wrestlers have condemned the delhi police’s indecency towards the students.

On the other hand, wrestlers continue their sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against Wrestling Association of India President Brij Bhushan. The wrestlers have also returned the security of Delhi Police. He was given protection on the orders of the Supreme Court, in which one soldier was kept with him in a 12-hour shift.

The players said that if they are not safe even at Jantar Mantar, they are not safe anywhere. They are protesting peacefully here. People are coming here every day in support of him, but he has no problem with anyone.

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president PT Usha arrived at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday. PT Usha interacted with wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and other wrestlers sitting on the sit-in. PT Usha assured justice to the wrestlers.
